Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on social media aren’t best pleased after Fabrizio Romano reported that there is nothing to the reports that Eric Dier is wanted by Roma.
Tottenham supporters were seemingly keen to see Dier moved on, and to be fair, we can understand why.
The England international has seemingly regressed a little bit this season, and with Spurs reportedly needing to sell before they can buy this summer, selling Dier to Roma seemed to be a decent way to raise a bit of cash.
Now it seems as though Dier is set to stay at Tottenham, that is of course unless another club comes in for him this summer.
Spurs supporters weren’t overly enthused by the fact Dier is staying, and that perhaps shows just how desperate fans are for a bit of a reshuffle in north London after what has been a largely underwhelming season.
