Liverpool fans have moved to praise Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford after last night’s game.
Bamford was a constant menace on the pitch for Leeds last night, and then came out and conducted an interview with Sky Sports at full-time.
It was at this point when he really impressed even watching Liverpool fans.
Bamford spoke eloquently about his disapproval of Liverpool’s decision to join the European Super League.
The striker also stated that he wished that racism issues created such a fierce backlash as the Super League issue has done.
And Liverpool fans could only applaud Bamford for his comments after the game.
Bamford has proven his class on the pitch this season, with 14 goals, but he continues to be a fine ambassador for Leeds off the pitch too.
The striker speaks with great openness to the media and is a gifted orator, as well as finisher.
Leeds 1-1 draw with Liverpool could actually be harmful to Jurgen Klopp’s side’s chances of making the top four, but that may not be a particularly big issue, if the Super League does go ahead.
