Liverpool, Stoke City, Newcastle United and Arsenal players make up our top five, we want to hear yours…
Luis Suarez’s 55-yard wonder strike this weekend was a truly special moment, and one that will be remembered for years by Liverpool supporters.
But likewise Peter Crouch’s stunning volley for Stoke against Manchester City is right up there too.
Arsenal’s Robin van Persie has been prolific in the league, and none of his 28 league strikes have been better than his volley against Everton.
His winner at Anfield was almost a replica, but the Everton one slightly shades it for us, because of the way he struck it across the goalkeeper, rather than at the near post.
There have been other sumptuous goals this season too, with Stephane Sessegnon’s goal at Swansea, and both Antonio Valencia and Rafael van der Vaart have scored crackers against Blackburn at Ewood Park.
But the man who completes our top five is Hatem Ben Arfa, who has scored two amazing solo goals.
The first came against Blackburn in the FA Cup, which led manager Alan Pardew to declare it the best goal he had ever seen, and then his second wonder goal came last month against Bolton when he ran through their whole team to score the opener.
His FA Cup goal can be seen below:
