Spurs have been linked with a move for defender Pavard.

Stuttgart sporting director Michael Reschke has told the German club’s official website that Tottenham Hotspur target Benjamin Pavard will not be leaving the club this summer.
The Sun reported last month that Spurs are considering a move for the 22-year-old defender this summer, after watching him shine for Bundesliga outfit Stuttgart during the 2017-18 campaign.
It is believed that the defender is worth £11million, after the former Lille star broke into Didier Deschamps’ national side and was included in France’s 23-man squad for this summer’s World Cup.

Reschke was asked about Pavard’s future with Spurs said to be interested in a move to land the versatile star, but he denied that there had been any offers for Stuttgart’s most prized possession, and even discussed a new contract.
“He had an exceptional season for VfB and it’s clear that he is in the focus on the international top-clubs. We are in constant exchanges with Benji and his agent and we are well aware of what’s going on,” Reschke said.
“In extending his contract, we naturally spoke about his career planning. We’ve discussed the national team, the Champions League and that it’s our mutual focus to have him play at VfB next season.
“We expect that to be the case – there have been no offers, no talks with other clubs and there’s no change to the situation.”

Pavard failed to miss a single Bundesliga match for Stuttgart during 2017-18, featuring mainly at the heart of defence but also appearing at right-back and in holding midfield.
He helped Stuttgart keep 12 clean sheets in 34 league matches, as the club finished in a decent seventh place – a lot higher than pre-season expectations.
Pavard has a contract with Stuttgart until the summer of 2021, but the lure of the Premier League and Champions League football could prove tempting if Spurs do consider tabling an offer.
