Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani finds himself at the centre of more controversy.

Andrea Radrizzani, Owner of Leeds United looks on during the Sky Bet Championship match between Bristol City and Leeds United at Ashton Gate on October 21, 2017 in Bristol, England.

Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani is in the eye of a media storm after announcing a post-season tour to Burma.

The decision has come in for questioning for football and political reasons, with parts of the country a war zone.

Human rights group Amnesty International has even branded the choice of country as ‘odd’.

Andrea Radrizzani, Owner of Leeds United (L) looks on during the Sky Bet Championship match between Bristol City and Leeds United at Ashton Gate on October 21, 2017 in Bristol, England.

Leeds owner Radrizzani has been under pressure in recent months due to the club’s poor form, his public criticism of Wolves’ transfer strategy, and the club’s botched attempts to re-design a new badge.

This looks like another mis-step, but Radrizzani has come out fighting.

Responding to two Leeds of the hundreds of unhappy fans on Twitter, Radrizzani hit back at claims the desire to tour Burma were solely financial driven.

Replying directly to these two tweets, Radrizzani dismissed the criticism – which also included a comparison with former owner Massimo Cellino – as stupid.

Radrizzani added that Leeds were not going to net a big payday for their venture.

Leeds backed down from their attempts to re-design the badge, but Radrizzani does not appear to be set on another u-turn.
