Gary Neville has said on Sky Sports News (5:32pm, October 22, 2021) that Aston Villa manager Dean Smith is not under pressure ahead of the match against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium this evening.
Neville has said that he has read a “stupid” report that Smith is under pressure at Villa.
The Villans are 13th in the Premier League table at the moment with 10 points from eight matches.
Former Manchester United defender Neville has said that he recently read a report that Smith could lose his job at Villa.
The Sky Sports pundit cannot believe it.
Villa will take on Arsenal away from home at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League this evening.

Neville said on Sky Sports News (5:32pm, October 22, 2021): “Last week I heard a report, a stupid report, that Dean Smith might be under a little bit pressure. Surely that can’t be right.”
Surely Dean Smith won’t be sacked?
Villa are an ambitious club who will want to at least challenge for the Premier League top 10 this season.
Now, of course, we know that club owners want success.
And rightly so.

However, in our opinion, Villa will not sack Smith anytime soon.
Neville does not mention which publication is claiming that the Englishman is under pressure.
We searched the internet and found two such reports.
You never know what could happen in football.
But it will come as a surprise if Villa sack Smith anytime soon.
