Yesterday, FourFourTwo released an article ranking the 50 best youngsters on the planet, and there was one inclusion which will hurt Arsenal.

What’s the story?

Well, the rankings offered plenty of encouragement for Arsenal.

Omari Hutchinson finished 36th on the list, whereas Charlie Patino was named at 20th by FourFourTwo.

The duo are potential stars of the future for Arsenal, although they could’ve had three inclusions on the list if Yunus Musah had stayed – he was named 23rd.

The 19-year-old quit Arsenal in 2019 to join Valencia, having spent the entirety of his youth career playing for the Gunners.

Since then, he has risen to stardom in Spain.

FourFourTwo liken Musah to Gareth Bale, as a result of his ability to eat up the pitch and burst forward like an Olympic sprinter.

They also describe the 13-cap United States international as a stunning footballer, who is set to achieve big things in the game.

Arsenal shouldn’t worry about Yunus Musah

Had Arsenal released Musah, then they would’ve been feeling pretty foolish right now.

However, it was the New York-born wonderkid’s decision to leave Arsenal, and the Gunners were powerless to stop him.

Of course, measures can be taken to ensure more youngsters do not follow Musah in leaving north London, but the majority of Arsenal’s prospects seem content at London Colney.

As aforesaid, Hutchinson and Patino are thriving, with the latter already a first-team debutant, whereas Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe are now among Arsenal’s most important players.

Clearly, Arsenal is the place to be for youngsters, so one prospect slipping through the net shouldn’t upset supporters too much.
