Chris Sutton’s initial response to Celtic’s defeat against Sparta Prague on Thursday comprised just three words.
Celtic took a 15th-minute lead in the Czech Republic, courtesy of Odsonne Edouard’s strike.
But it was all downhill from there for the Bhoys, who slumped to a 4-1 defeat which increases the pressure on Sutton’s former Parkhead teammate Neil Lennon.
And the Englishman tweeted, after the final whistle was blown:
Celtic’s defeat means they can no longer qualify from the Europa League Group H, despite having two games left to play.
And they must win both of those, and hope that Sparta Pargue lose theirs, to finish any higher than fourth and bottom.
Lennon’s side already trail Rangers by 11 points at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
And while Celtic still have a couple of games in hand on their main rivals, it would come as little surprise to see Lennon lose his job now.
The Norther Irishman is in his second stint as manager at Parkhead.
And Sutton added afterwards:
According to the Glaswegian Talksport host, Jim White, the Celtic chief executive, Peter Lawwell, recently played golf with the available former Bournemouth boss, Eddie Howe, who is one of the early favourites to replace Lennon.
