Everton are reportedly interested in signing Juan Mata from Manchester United in the summer transfer window.

Former Nottingham Forest manager Stuart Pearce suggested on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Monday morning (broadcast from 6am, July 4) that Manchester United star Juan Mata would be a good signing for Everton.
Mata has been linked with a move from United to Everton in the summer transfer window.
According to The Telegraph, Everton are interested in signing Mata from Premier League rivals United this summer.
It has been reported that the Toffees are trying to convince the Spain international to move to Goodison Park.
According to the report, the attacking midfielder is aware that he has no future at United, who will have former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho in charge of the first team next season.
Former Forest manager Pearce believes that the 28-year-old would be a good signing for Everton.

“I see it as a decent signing for Everton,” said Pearce on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Monday morning (broadcast from 6am, July 4) while discussing the prospect of Mata joining United this summer. “I think it’s a good signing.”
“Seems a good fit, Mata to Everton,” added the Englishman. “You know, sometimes the fit seems right.”

Mata may not have been at his best since his move to United from Chelsea in January 2014, but he remains a superb attacking midfielder.
The Spaniard has proven Premier League quality and is one of the best attacking players in the world when on form.
Signing Mata would be a massive statement from Everton, who have a new manager in charge, Ronald Koeman.
