West Ham United are set to take on Tottenham Hotspur in the League Cup later this evening.

West Ham are set to take on Spurs, and the pressure is on Slaven Bilic to get a result.
The Croatian boss is facing calls for him to be sacked, after what has been a terrible spell for the Hammers.
And Pearce does not believe that Bilic can afford to take any chances with his team selection in the League Cup this evening.

The former England international defender said: “Andy Carroll, if he’s fit and available, needs to play. I think Slaven needs to put his strongest line up out.”
Carroll has recently been suspended from action, after picking up a red card against Burnley at Turf Moor.
Carroll was sent off for picking up two bookings in quick succession against the Clarets, and his absence was felt in West Ham’s last match.

Bilic’s side were beaten 3-0 by Brighton & Hove Albion in their last outing in front of their own supporters.
It has been said that Bilic has just two games to save his job, and another defeat against Spurs this evening would be disastrous.
