Declan Rice is one of the best young players in the Premier League, and there is no surprise that Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea are among the clubs linked with the West Ham United and England international midfielder.
It was only last month when The Telegraph reported that Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Manchester City all are interested in signing Rice.
We covered the report here on HITC Sport.
West Ham are not having the best of seasons and are unlikely to finish in the European places in the Premier League table this season.
Rice is playing with England international teammates such as Jordan Henderson, Kyle Walker and Trent Alexander-Arnold at the 2022 Qatar World Cup, players who have won the Premier League and/or the UEFA Champions League.

So, it was not particularly surprising to hear Rice publicly say this week that he wants to win big trophies and play in the UEFA Champions League like his “friends”, saying that “you only get one career”.
Former West Ham first-team coach Stuart Pearce has given his take on Rice’s comments.
The talkSPORT pundit believes that the 23-year-old, who can also play in defence, will not leave the Hammers in the January transfer window, but he has added that he owes West Ham nothing.

Pearce said about Rice on talkSPORT (9:22am, December 2, 2022): “Personally I think he can go anywhere he wants. I still think there’s more to come from Declan as a player.”
The pundit added: “He owes West Ham absolutely nothing. I think he has been brilliant. He has driven them to two European campaigns.
“I don’t think he will be moving anytime soon, and when I say anytime soon, not before next summer. That’s certainly won’t be the case.”
