West Ham United finished in seventh place in this season’s Premier League.

Stuart Pearce has told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, which was broadcast on 6th June, that West Ham United will have a fantastic season next year, if they can replicate the seventh placed finish they achieved last term.
West Ham surpassed expectations during Slaven Bilic’s first season in charge, as they secured European football for their first campaign at the Olympic Stadium.

The Hammers have already outlined some exciting plans for the future, but Pearce believes that patience will be key.
“I think to finish where they did was fantastic,” he said. “If they replicate that again they have done well. I think they still need to add to their squad, because the others around them will do exactly the same.”
West Ham have already made one signing so far this summer, with Havard Nordtveit joining from Borussia Monchengladbach.
The Hammers have also been linked with a range of players, with Bilic being handed plenty of funds to spend.

West Ham are reportedly interested in Alexandre Lacazette, Theo Walcott and Juan Mata – as they look to strengthen their squad.
West Ham had great success in last summer’s transfer window, when they brought in the likes of Manuel Lanzini and Dimitri Payet, and they will be hoping that their signings are similarly productive this time around.
