Ian Holloway is reportedly set to be appointed as the Queens Park Rangers manager.
Former Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United defender Stuart Pearce suggested on the Sky Sports Now show on Sky Sports News HQ on Friday morning (broadcast from 10am, November 11, 2016) that Ian Holloway would be a good managerial appointment for Queens Park Rangers.
QPR are on the lookout for a new manager following the recent departure of Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
Hasselbaink was sacked as the Rangers boss last weekend following a run of poor results.
According to Sky Sports, the Championship club are set to appoint Holloway as their new manager.

Holloway is without a managerial job at the moment, having been sacked by Millwall back in March 2015.
Former Forest and Manchester City manager Pearce has backed the ex-QPR boss to be a success if he returns to Loftus Road.
“I think it’s a good match really,” said Pearce on the Sky Sports Now show on Sky Sports News HQ on Friday morning (broadcast from 10am, November 11, 2016). “He knows the football club. He has had some good times at the club.”

QPR are struggling in the Championship at the moment, but Rangers still do have a chance of launching a challenge for the top six.
The London club are currently just six points behind sixth-placed Leeds United and six points above the relegation zone.
