Stuart Pearce praises West Ham United boss David Moyes ‘unbelievable’ work rate

West Ham United boss David Moyes tasted victory for the first time since taking charge at the weekend.

Stuart Pearce has told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, which was broadcast on TalkSPORT on 11th December, that new West Ham United boss David Moyes has an unbelievable work ethic.

Moyes has taken charge at West Ham and endured a difficult start to life at the London Stadium.

The Scottish boss has already come under pressure, but he did manage to guide his side to victory over Chelsea at the weekend.

West Ham picked up a 1-0 win over Antonio Conte’s side, in what was a crucial result for the London side.

And Pearce has been very impressed by Moyes’ managerial ability since teaming up with the former Manchester United boss at the London Stadium.

“His work ethic is unbelievable,” Pearce said. “I’ve worked as hard now as a coach as I’ve ever worked. This is a great opportunity for him, and one which he is relishing.”

Moyes’ appointment did not go down well at the London Stadium when it was announced, but there has been promising signs on display recently.

West Ham have put in organised displays against Manchester City and Chelsea in their last two outings, to start moving up the Premier League table.

West Ham are still in the relegation zone, but they have closed the gap to safety significantly, ahead of their match against Arsenal in midweek.
