Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli has signed a new contract with the club.

Former Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United defender Stuart Pearce said on the Sky Sports Now show on Sky Sports News HQ on Monday morning (broadcast from 10am, September 19, 2016) that Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli will become a finished article in a year or two years’ time.
Alli is one of the most talented and exciting young midfielders in the Premier League at the moment.
The 20-year-old has established himself as a key player in the current Tottenham team.
The England international signed a new contract on Monday morning, committing his future at Tottenham until 2022, as announced on the Premier League club’s official website.

Former Manchester City and Forest manager Pearce has suggested that Alli signing a new contract shows that he is improving as a player.
The former England international defender has also predicted the ex-Milton Keynes Dons youngster to become the finished article in an year or two years’ time.
“Well, he is improving,” said Pearce on the Sky Sports Now show on Sky Sports News HQ on Monday morning (broadcast from 10am, September 19, 2016) when asked for his thoughts on Alli’s new contract.
“The fact that Daniel Levy has decided to give him another contract after signing the last one in January.
“Daniel looks after the money quite well, so the fact that they are happy to extend his contract.
“He is getting better as a player, and I think in a year or two years’ time we are going to see the finished article in a player.”

Alli has scored one goal and created 10 chances in five Premier League appearances for Tottenham so far this season.
During the 2015-16 campaign, the 20-year-old midfielder scored 10 goals and created 55 chances in 33 league matches for the North London outfit.
