Leeds United have won back-to-back matches for the first time this season.

Stuart Pearce has told Sky Sports News, which was broadcast on 19th September, that he believes Leeds United can start climbing the Championship table.
Leeds have won their last two matches, against Blackburn Rovers and Cardiff City, after what was a slow start to the campaign.
The Whites are now occupying 15th place in the Championship table, and Pearce believes that the Yorkshire side can continue to move up the standings in the coming weeks.
“I don’t see why not,” Pearce said, when asked whether Leeds can build on their good run of form. “Leeds is one of those clubs where it’s not the easiest place to manage.

“But credit to him. They have nicked a couple of victories and that will stand them in good stead. They are a good football club with a decent squad of players.”
Leeds went into their match against Blackburn under great pressure, with speculation rising over manager Garry Monk’s future.

However, after squeezing past Rovers, they showed their class to defeat Cardiff 2-0 in their latest outing.
Leeds played with a good level of confidence in Wales, and were worthy winners against the struggling Bluebirds.
Leeds are next in action on Tuesday evening against Blackburn in the League Cup, before they take on Ipswich Town at the weekend.
