Celtic and Scotland international left-back Kieran Tierney is praised by Stuart McCall, who both played and managed Ibrox outfit Rangers.

Tierney is one of the best young defenders in Europe and has established himself as a first-team regular for Celtic.
The 20-year-old left-back progressed through the Celtic youth ranks and has a bright future ahead of him. The youngster has also made himself a regular in the Scotland national football squad.
Former Rangers and Everton midfielder McCall, who is now in charge of Bradford in League One in England, has spoken highly of Tierney.
The former Rangers manager worked in the Scotland set-up as assistant to Gordon Strachan.

“At Champions League level for Celtic, too, he has been nothing short of outstanding,” McCall told The Sunday Post about Tierney.
“And again in the domestic game, he has demonstrated both his versatility – playing in several different positions including left centre-back of a three – and his stamina by playing game after game.
“I have been around football for a lot of years now, one way or another, and I can’t remember any young player making that sort of impact.”

Tierney is still very young and raw, but he has shown enough potential and quality already.
The youngster has also demonstrated his versatility by playing as a central defender despite being a left-back by trade.
Celtic are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 20 points from eight matches.
