Graeme Murty’s Glasgow Rangers will face Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic this weekend, and former Ibrox manager Stuart McCall backs Brighton and Hove Albion-owned Jamie Murphy to make an impact in the Old Firm derby.

Graeme Murty’s Rangers will take on Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic at Hampden Park in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup on Sunday afternoon.
The 28-year-old winger has been playing well for the Gers since joining on loan from Premier League club Brighton and Hove Albion in the January transfer window.
The Scotland international has scored four goals and provided five assists in 11 Scottish Premiership appearances for the Gers since his January loan switch, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
Former Rangers midfielder and manager McCall has hailed the signing of Murphy and has backed the ex-Motherwell winger to make an impact against Celtic.

McCall told The Scottish Sun about Murphy: “I thought he was a terrific signing when Rangers brought him in in January.”
“You saw in the last game against Celtic he was one of Rangers’ better players,” added McCall. “It will be about what happens on the day, but he’s got the ability to give Celtic a hard time, there’s no doubt about that. I’m really pleased for him that he’s doing well.”
