Leeds United are going strong in the Championship at the moment.

Leeds United winger Stuart Dallas has told TEAMtalk that head coach Garry Monk has not changed his ways this season.

Monk was appointed the Leeds head coach in the summer of 2016 and has done a wonderful job at Elland Road so far.

The Whites did not start the 2016-17 Championship strongly, but they are fourth now in the standings.

The West Yorkshire outfit look set to finish in the top six, and perhaps they could even launch a late rally for an automatic promotion place.

“He hasn’t changed his ways from the start of the season,” Dallas told TEAMtalk about Monk.

“He believed in us and told us from the start he believed we were a good group and he promised us that if we bought into what he was doing we would give a good account of ourselves.

“At the start of the season we didn’t start too well but we kept going.”

Dallas’s comments show just good a manager Monk is. Even when Leeds were struggling for points and for consistency back in August, the former Swansea City manager kept true to his philosophy and style.

What is remarkable about Monk is that he has been able to convince his players to play the way he wants to. It is not easy for a manager to sell his ideas to all of his players, but it seems that the Englishman has been able to do just that.
