Leeds United youngster Alfie McCalmont is in the Northern Ireland senior squad.

Leeds United have long been known for their impressive youth academy – and another player looks set for a big future.
The Whites saw Jack Clarke emerge as a real talent this season, and one teammate appears to be coming through with real acclaim.
Midfielder Alfie McCalmont has been featuring with the Leeds Under-23’s this season, and whilst he’s waiting for his Leeds debut on the senior stage, his international debut may be coming.
Northern Ireland have called McCalmont into their training preparations for Euro 2020 qualifiers against Estonia and Belarus, with a first cap potentially in the works in the future.
Boss Michael O’Neill allegedly wants to take a look at the 19-year-old, though he hasn’t actually been named in the full squad just yet.
Leeds teammates Bailey Peacock-Farrell and Stuart Dallas have both been named in the squad though, and Dallas has taken to Twitter to react to McCalmont being included in training.
Dallas has predicted a ‘bright future’ for the teenage midfielder, and the pair may well be playing together for club and country if McCalmont continues this progression.
