Marcelo Bielsa has been a revelation at Leeds United.

Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa watches on during the Sky Bet Championship match between Leeds United and Sheffield United at Elland Road on March 16, 2019 in Leeds, England.

Leeds United winger Stuart Dallas has described Marcelo Bielsa as a ‘top class manager’, in an interview with Sky Sports News [20/03/2019].

Bielsa has been a revelation since joining Leeds last summer and it’s entirely possible that he’ll guide them back into the Premier League at the first time of asking.

As things stand, the 63-year-old’s side are one point adrift of second-placed Sheffield United with eight Championship games to go.

The renowned Argentine, who has managed Marseille and Athletic Bilbao to name but a few, looks every inch the brilliant coach that he was supposed to be when United hired him.

Dallas is on international duty with Northern Ireland, playing under Michael O’Neill for his country, and the Leeds ace feels grateful to work under two such influential managers.

“I enjoy working with both very much,” he told Sky Sports News.

“To learn from someone like the manager we have at Leeds, he’s well-regarded around the world, he is one of the best, to get that chance to play under him is a good experience.

“Obviously it’s different with Michael who I love playing under here and yeah it’s good to play under two top class managers.”

Dallas, a £1.3 million signing by the Yorkshire giants in 2015 [Sky Sports], has struggled for game time under Bielsa since returning from injury, and has often been used as a right-back this season.
