Roberts finally pulled on a Leeds shirt for the first time on Sunday.

Leeds United winger Stuart Dallas has told the club’s official website that he has been impressed with the effort and patience shown by young star Tyler Roberts in his fight against injury.
Roberts, 19, joined Leeds for £2.5million in the January transfer window but immediately suffered an ankle injury that ruled him out of action for the rest of the campaign.
He finally pulled on a Leeds shift for the first time since his move from West Bromwich Albion, coming off the bench to feature for the Whites in their pre-season friendly against League One outfit Southend United.
The two sides drew 1-1 as Luke Ayling cancelled out Harry Lennon’s header, and Northern Ireland international Dallas was full of praise for versatile attacker Roberts after the full-time whistle on Sunday afternoon.
“It’s great to see him back on the pitch,” Dallas said. “He’s only returned to training in the last week, 10 days. I’m delighted for him because he’s worked so hard.
“It’s not easy being in the gym all the time and doing stuff by yourself and doing rehab. He’s shown a lot of patience and he’s worked really, really hard. I’m delighted he came on today and he looked very, very sharp. He’s got a bright future.”

Roberts is in contention with the likes of Kemar Roofe and Caleb Ekuban to start up front for Leeds, while youngsters Ryan Edmondson and Sam Dalby are also looking for game time. Bielsa is also expected to sign a new forward.
Leeds still have Oxford United, Guiseley and Las Palmas to play before the club’s first league game of the season, which sees Leeds play host to relegated Premier League side Stoke City on August 5.
