Leeds United make the League Cup trip to Burnley on Tuesday where a couple of familiar faces could be waiting for them.

Speaking to a press conference, Leeds United winger Stuart Dallas has admitted that he and his team-mates were disappointed by Chris Wood’s decision to leave the club this summer.
The New Zealand striker, who hit 30 goals for Leeds last season, joined Premier League side Burnley in a £15 million move last month.
Wood could potentially come up against many of his former colleagues tomorrow night when the Whites visit Turf Moor in a third-round League Cup clash, though his Premier League form – he has two goals in three games – might suggest Sean Dyche could rest him.

Nevertheless, Dallas was sad to see the 25-year-old leave Elland Road, but added that Wood is “nothing more to us” when asked how his exit was received in the dressing room.
He told a press conference: “That’s up to him why he wanted to leave. He seen the opportunity to go and play in the Premier League.
“A lot of us…..we were disappointed he left obviously but there’s more to life than Chris Wood and I don’t mean that in a bad way.
“When you go, you’re nothing more to us and we’ve just got to get on with it and we wish him well – not tomorrow night but for the future.”

In spite of Wood’s importance last season, Leeds, who sit top of the Championship, haven’t missed him.
Thomas Christiansen has designed a system which is not so heavily reliant on one man as United were under Garry Monk, with a lot more variety in the goalscorers this season.
Up until last weekend, Christiansen’s side were the highest scorers in the Championship with 14, though Bristol City, who have 15, usurped them on Saturday.
