Stuart Dallas claims fourth assist for Leeds United

Stephen Warnock was top of Leeds United’s creative charts last season with three assists.

Stuart Dallas has already racked up more assists for Leeds United this season than any player managed in the whole of the last campaign for the Whites.

Dallas claimed his fourth assist of the term during Leeds’ 2-1 win over Hull City at the weekend.

That total of goals created dwarfed anything Leeds players managed during the 2014/15 season, when Stephen Warnock and Souleymane Doukara ended up as the side’s top creators, after making three goals for their teammates.

That stat rather sums up Leeds’ struggles in front of goal last season, especially as Warnock left to join Derby County in January.

It does also highlight how big an impact Dallas has made at Leeds, as the winger has impressed in his initial displays for the Yorkshire side.

The Northern Ireland international’s work-rate has been vital for Leeds, and he is already playing a key role.

Dallas has made 20 appearances to date for Leeds, and while his creative talents have caught the eye, he will hope to show more cutting edge soon.

Dallas is yet to open his scoring account for Leeds, but he has proven to be a prolific scorer at Championship level previously – after netting eight times for Brentford last season.
