Stuart Dallas’ two strikes make him Leeds United’s most prolific goalscorer in terms of minutes per goal in the Championship.

After a season which saw Leeds heavily reliant on one player for the majority of their goals, it is safe to say that Thomas Christiansen’s men have been much better this term at distributing the goals amongst the squad.
Last season, Leeds had 12 different goalscorers, while this term they already have eight. And the fact that they carry a goalscoring threat all over the pitch arguably explains why the man who boasts the best minutes per goal ratio in the Whites squad is a player who is still awaiting his first Championship start of the season.

Stuart Dallas has made seven league appearances this term – all from the bench – but has already scored twice to equal his tally from last season and leave him just one behind current top goalscorer Kalvin Phillips this year.
His excellent return of a goal every 79.5 minutes not only makes him the most prolific goalscorer in the Leeds squad based on minutes per goal, but it also makes him the sixth best-performing player across the entire Championship.
| Team | Goals | Mins per goal | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tom Elliott | Millwall | 1 | 41 |
| Mustapha Carayol | Forest | 1 | 65 |
| Lucas Piazon | Fulham | 1 | 75 |
| Danny Ward | Cardiff | 1 | 75 |
| Martyn Waghorn | Ipswich | 4 | 79 |
| Stuart Dallas | Leeds | 2 | 79.5 |
| Matt Smith | QPR | 3 | 80 |
| David Wheeler | QPR | 1 | 81 |
| Abel Hernández | Hull | 3 | 81.67 |
| Cameron Carter-Vickers | Sheff Utd | 1 | 90 |
While a number of players make the list simply because they have played peripheral roles for their team, the fact that Dallas has played in seven games – and is one of just four players to have scored more than once in the top 10 – arguably means that he deserves plenty of credit.

With his minutes being spread out over seven appearances, he has generally had little time to get into games but has still managed to make an important impact.
And having players coming off the bench who can be relied upon to make an impact on a fairly regular basis could be extremely valuable as Leeds look to capitalise on their brilliant start.
