Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers brought Cristian Gamboa to Glasgow last summer.
Stuart Armstrong has claimed that Cristian Gamboa is the fastest player in Celtic training.
Armstrong was put up for media duty by Celtic today, and participated on a question and answer session on social media website Twitter.
And the central-midfielder was asked who the quickest player at Celtic was by one Bhoys supporter.
Armstrong revealed that Gamboa was the most rapid sprinter at Parkhead, but he also could not resist having a cheeky joke about Erik Sviatchenko.
Gamboa has struggled to break into Celtic’s first-team this season, despite his pace.
The full-back was brought to Celtic last summer from West Bromwich Albion and he has done relatively well whenever given a chance.
However, Mikael Lustig still holds the title of being Celtic’s first choice right sided defender.
Gamboa did play in Celtic’s last match against Hamilton, and the Costa Rican international helped Brendan Rodgers’ side pick up a 2-0 victory.
