Tottenham Hotspur defender Cameron Carter-Vickers got another chance last night.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Cameron Carter-Vickers has had a frustrating spell on loan at Swansea City so far.

In his first three months at Swansea, Carter-Vickers had just started one game.

His last appearance came back in September, so it was a big relief for the US international to be recalled by Swansea last night.

Carter-Vickers started in Swansea’s win over Blackburn Rovers, a 3-1 victory.

He had a solid enough evening, making five clearances, two interceptions, and completing 91 per cent of his passes.

A lack of game time was looking very concerning for Carter-Vickers, both for his international and club prospects.

He will hope to have done enough to earn more chances, with his opportunity coming as a result of rotation by manager Graham Potter.

Last season he had two successful Championship loan spells, and the centre-back will hope this can be a turning point and become a third.
