Aston Villa loanee Caleb Chukwuemeka was subbed off just seven minutes after coming on for Livingston on Saturday afternoon as his struggles in Scotland continue.
Villa fought off competition from the likes of Rangers to snap up Chukwuemeka from Northampton Town in the summer, with the 20-year-old forward joining up with his brother Carney in Birmingham.

He impressed during the first half of the season for the Premier League club’s U23 team, scoring seven goals and notching five assists in the PL2.
Then, last month, Villa decided it was time to send him out elsewhere to gain more senior experience and he joined Scottish Premiership club Livingston on 17 January.
However, things aren’t going to plan so far.
Aston Villa loanee Chukwuemeka struggling at Livi
Chukwuemeka has only made one start since his move – in a Scottish Cup clash against Ross County – and he was hooked at half-time, while he was an unused substitute for a league win at Hibs and only made brief appearances against Dundee, Rangers and St Johnstone.
Then, on Saturday afternoon, he had the embarrassing experience of being subbed off just minutes after being brought on.
In the 83rd minute, with Livi leading Aberdeen 2-1 at the Tony Macaroni Arena, the Villa loanee was introduced after teammate Cristian Montano had been sent off.
However, he had just three touches of the ball over the next seven minutes before being subbed off in the 90th minute.
The youngster was criticised for a perceived bad attitude by some Livingston supporters on social media after being replaced and he’ll need to turn things around dramatically over the coming weeks and months if this loan spell is to be a successful one.
