Newcastle United right-back Harrison Ashby has sent a message to Liverpool right-back Calvin Ramsay on Instagram.
Ramsay has made a post on Instagram after the Liverpool defender successfully underwent a surgery.
The full-back joined Liverpool in the summer of 2022.
The 19-year-old Scotland international has been able to make only two appearances in the first team for the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners so far this season.
Ramsay underwent an operation this week.
And, according to Liverpool’s official website, the former Aberdeen teenager will miss the rest of the season.
Ashby joined Newcastle from Premier League rivals West Ham United in the January transfer window.
The 21-year-old played with Ramsay in the Scotland youth teams, and he is disappointed for his compatriot.

Interestingly, Newcastle United and Liverpool will face each other at St. James’ Park in the Premier League League on Saturday evening.
Both the Magpies and the Reds are aiming to finish in the UEFA Champions League places in the league table this season.
Eddie Howe’s side are fourth in the Premier League table at the moment with 41 points from 22 matches.
Meanwhile, Liverpool currently find themselves ninth in the standings with 32 points from 21 games.
