According to The Daily Mail, reported Tottenham Hotspur and Everton target Arkadiusz Milik wants a contract worth £160,000 per week at his new club.

According to Gianlucadimarzio.com, Premier League clubs Tottenham and Everton are interested in signing Milik from Italian side Napoli in the summer transfer window.

Stats

According to WhoScored, Milik scored 11 goals in 19 Serie A starts for Napoli last season.

During the 2018-19 campaign, the Poland international striker scored 17 goals and providing three assists in the league, and scored three goals in the Champions League, according to WhoScored.

Too expensive?

Milik is a very good striker, and given that he is 26 years of age at the moment, there is every chance that he will get better and has not reached his peak yet.

However, a weekly salary of £160,000 does seem a lot, especially as Tottenham and Everton will have no Champions League football this season, and there is no guarantee that they will be playing in Europe’s premier club competition in 2021-22.

In addition to that, Tottenham and Everton would also have to pay Napoli a decent transfer fee for Milik.
