Former Al-Hilal striker Odion Ighalo has completed his move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Wehda, making this move his third different move in the Saudi Pro League.
The former Super Eagles striker signed a two-year agreement with the Saudi club. Ighalo’s presence was announced by the Mecca-based organisation on Tuesday.
The 34-year-old moved after his contract with Al Hilal, a Saudi Arabia Professional League champion, expired in June.
The striker formerly played for Al Shabab, Watford and Manchester United.
The Nigerian has had a very interesting career and may well be described as a journeyman. Ighalo has always been open about how important money is to footballers today.

Ighalo on footballers today
The Nigerian forward, who once formed a lethal partnership with Troy Deeney at Watford, has spoken out recently about the importance of money to footballers’ lives and was honest about his motivations to move to the Pro League.
“When you are young, yes, you play for passion,” Ighalo said, when speaking to Sports Illustrated. “Back then, you don’t care about money. But at my age, I am in the final stretch of my career, I don’t know if it will be one, or two years or when God will tell it to stop.”
Ighalo was let go from Al-Hilal presumably because of the wealth of quality that has come into the side recently.
Aleksandar Mitrovic is on his way to Al-Hilal after they put in a £46 million offer for the Serbian forward and it seems the West London side will accept the offer.
As well as Mitrovic, Neymar has already completed his move to the Saudi side this week. Ighalo really had no way of breaking into the first team especially with these two superstars in their front line.
