Rhian Brewster left Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool just over a year ago, and now he could be on the move to Nottingham Forest.

Liverpool made a decent £23.5 million (The Guardian) when they sold Brewster to Sheffield United in October 2020.

Fast forward one year, and the Blades are willing to offload him.

Rhian Brewster exit rumour

That’s according to TEAMtalk, who are reporting that Nottingham Forest want to sign the young striker on a loan deal with a view to a permanent transfer.

The Blades themselves are open to offloading Brewster.

Struggles

The striker has really struggled at Bramall Lane since his exit from Liverpooo.

Brewster made 12 starts and 15 substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Blades last season.

The striker could not score.

The Yorkshire club got relegated from the Premier League.

Brewster has made five starts and three substitute appearances in the Championship for Sheffield United so far this season.

The youngster has scored only one goal.

Selling a young and talented striker could backfire.

But, in our view, it has been a sensible decision from Liverpool.

Klopp is not really missing Brewster, who has failed to really kick on after leaving Liverpool.
