Former Arsenal talent Arturo Lupoli last scored a hat-trick for Derby County.

Former Arsenal talent Arturo Lupoli has not had the career he hoped for, but is finding a moment of happiness.
Once tipped as the Gunners’ next prolific forward, Lupoli could not live up to the hype which came after scoring 27 goals in 32 youth team games.
He made his debut as a teenager in 2004, and is now 30-years-old, playing for Italian Serie B side Fermana.
Fermana are the 15th club of Lupoli’s career, and he has been playing outside the top flight since 2009, save for a brief loan spell with Hungarian side Budapest Honvéd.

Last weekend Lupoli scored a hat-trick in a win over Santarcangelo, and has begun the season now with four goals in five games.
It is hardly the Premier League, but for Lupoli it is a big success as it marks the first hat-trick of his career since his 2008 treble for Derby County.

This came in a 2007 FA Cup win over Wrexham, and at that stage it appeared the football world was at his feet.
He said: “His performances are for us a pride, at Fermana has found a healthy and positive environment, that’s the main secret. He needed first of all a quiet environment to be pampered a bit.”
