Yannick Bolasie has lauded Leeds United transfer target Aaron Wan-Bissaka who is ‘back doing his thing’ for Manchester United, as he posted on Twitter.

There has been heavy talk during the January transfer window that the likes of Leeds United, Crystal Palace, West Ham United and Wolves want to sign the £50 million star, well, all of that might now change.

Before the World Cup, it seems as though Wan-Bissaka was packing his bags and heading for the Old Trafford exit door.

But, since the return, he has been outstanding for Erik ten Hag, including during his side’s 2-1 win over local rivals Manchester City on Saturday.

It will be interesting to see how Manchester United react if someone does put money on the table for the 25-year-old because he could be useful to many teams, including those down the bottom.

But Bolasie is just happy that his former Crystal Palace teammate is back showcasing his talent to the world.

“Streets telling me lil bro Wan Bissaka back doing his best thing at the Theatre of Dreams,” said Bolasie. “You have to always block out the noise and focus on the work and blessings.”

WAN-BISSAKA CHANCE MIGHT NOT BE OVER

It could be argued that Palace, who have lost their last five Premier League games, need Wan-Bissaka more, alongside West Ham United, than those at Elland Road.

Luke Ayling started at right-back instead of Rasmus Kristensen during the 2-1 defeat at Aston Villa and the Englishman faired a lot better, despite the poor result.

Either way, the chance of signing Wan-Bissaka might now be over because Manchester United have this small hope that they are in a title race and Wan-Bissaka has played a big part in their recent surge.
