Former Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino’s tough start at new club Brescia continues, with the club sitting 16th in Serie B.

He attempted to get back on track last week by hiring former Leeds sporting director Nicola Salerno.

Well by now Salerno should know what he is getting back into with Cellino, having worked with him at Cagliari and Leeds United.

And it should come as no surprise that their latest spell has got off to a particularly rocky start.

Brescia In Gol report Cellino and Salerno are already in dispute, just one week after being reunited.

Salerno’s start at his new job has been delayed as he was not actually able to be present in Brescia, as he wanted to be wit his daughter who was set to give birth.

It is claimed talks are due between the pair to get back on track, and Salerno is likely to remain in position.

Cellino has already fired one manager at Brescia since arrival, and is weighing up making a second sacking with results failing to improve.

Gone from Leeds but certainly not forgotten, it’s unlikely fans in Yorkshire miss their maverick former owner’s unpredictable decision making.
