Lee Dixon has spoken highly of Arsenal central defender William Saliba on talkSPORT (7:41am, October 3, 2022) for his performances so far this season.
The former Arsenal star believe that Saliba has taken the Premier League by storm with his performances for Mikel Arteta’s side this campaign.
Dixon has noted that the 21-year-old France international centre-back has forged a strong partnership with Brazilian star Gabriel at the heart of the Arsenal defence.
The pundit made the comments about Saliba while praising Ben White for the way he is playing at right-back at the moment.
Former Leeds United loanee White is a centre-back by trade, but Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is playing the England international at right-back now.

Future superstar
Given how William Saliba is playing for Arsenal at the moment, it is clear that he is a gem of a footballer.
And he is only 21.
Yes, we know that the youngster has played only a handful of matches in the Premier League, but the signs are very promising indeed.
Saliba is very good on the ball, can build attacking plays from the back, makes good interceptions and challenges, reads the game well, and is very confident.
The defender is a future superstar.
