Rival fans are very sceptical over suggestions that Liverpool could make a move for Kylian Mbappe next summer.

L’Equipe claim that Liverpool have been in regular contact with PSG over signing the forward, in what would be one of the most momentous transfers in recent Premier League history.

However, even though Liverpool have now won the Champions League and the Premier League in the last two seasons, most rival fans simply cannot see Mbappe ending up at Anfield.

If Liverpool do manage to pull off a deal for Mbappe he would surely go down as one of their most exciting signings of all time.

There is a widespread recognition that Mbappe will be the greatest player in the world once Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo retire.

Mbappe has scored prolifically for PSG and France, and remarkably is still only 21-years-old, so the best should be yet to come.

If he was to join Liverpool he would add further speed to an attack which is already one of the most feared in world football.
