Kevin Campbell reacted on the Highbury Squad Podcast to claims that Arsenal should sign Hugo Lloris for Tottenham.
Arsenal are on the lookout for a goalkeeper this summer, with Spurs recently addressing that department by signing Pierluigi Gollini on a season-long loan deal.
And whilst the likes of Aaron Ramsdale are at the forefront of Arsenal’s thoughts, another name was put forward to Campbell.
The former Gunners striker issued this response when, host, Sophie Nicolaou tried to wind him up about Lloris possibly being an option.
“I wrote, ‘shut it down’,” said Campbell. “I am not going to even mention.
“Did you see, I didn’t even flinch! Stop that. Stop it!”

Whilst there’s no chance that Arsenal will be signing Lloris, one thing is for sure, the £12 million player (BBC Sport) now has his work cut out at Hotspur Way.
Just like Bernd Lenon may find out if Arsenal get their new goalkeeper through the door, his number one spot will be under threat.
Gollini is the man who will push Lloris on one side of North London, whilst Ramsdale could be the one pushing Leno on the other side.
Either way, both Spurs and Arsenal need to transform their backline after a season of decline last time out.
