Speaking on Premier League Productions, Tim Sherwood has been discussing how Leeds United can change their fortunes and Patrick Bamford.
Sherwood reckons that a number of Leeds’ issues come from their lack of goals, and he’s called upon Bamford to step up and to shut up.
Indeed, Sherwood says that Bamford has had too much to say as of late, presumably referencing his post-Nottingham Forest interview where he seemed to critique Jesse Marsch’s tactics, and the pundit hs said that the striker needs to keep his mouth shut from now on and focus on winning football matches.

Bamford needs to shut up
Sherwood shared exactly what he thinks of the Leeds striker.
“The same old thing, they need more goals. Bamford needs to keep his mouth shut and stop talking and start winning football matches for the team,” Sherwood said.
“Going back to Bamford, he had a lot to say about Jesse Marsch, he needs to play for the shirt. He needs to not worry about who is in charge and he needs to work on his performances.”
Stay quiet
Bamford may have his opinions on his team and his manager, but he’s best off staying quiet from now on.
The ironic thing is that Bamford never even menat to criticise Marsch in that interview, it was just a player speaking from the heart and his comments took on a whole new meaning after the American was sacked.
Bamford actually liked Marsch. He even apologised to him after he was sacked, but many believe that his comments after the Forest game were a clear dig at the American.
From now on, Bamford is best off staying quiet, not because he’s done anything wrong, but because there’s then no risk of having anything you say come back to bite you.
