Roy Keane has said that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta should stop finding excuses for his side’s defeats, as quoted in talkSPORT.
The Sky Sports pundit has said that Arsenal boss Arteta is a sore loser and wants him to stop finding excuses whenever his team lose.
Keane made the comments about Arteta following Arsenal’s 3-1 defeat at the hands of Manchester United away from home at Old Trafford in the Premier League this past weekend.
Although the Gunners were in control of the match for a lot of the time, United were more clinical and took advantage of the mistakes that the North London club made.
After the match, Arteta complained about refereeing decisions in the match, including one that saw Gabriel Martinelli’s goal being ruled out, as quoted in talkSPORT.

Roy Keane on Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta
Keane said: “I’m fed up of all their excuses. I’m serious. Arteta gets interviewed after the game, he’s a sore loser, like us all.
He’s got to give a little bit of credit to Man United but he never does. Every time he loses a game it’s all about what the opposition didn’t do properly or the officials. Stop making excuses.
“You lost the game 3-1, you’ve done okay. Take your plaudits but give me the points any day of the week.”
Bouncing back
In our view, Arsenal should be able to bounce back from the defeat to Manchester United.
Yes, the Gunners lost at Old Trafford, but overall their performance was very encouraging.
Arsenal have been playing well this season, and we think that the Emirates Stadium faithful should be optimistic about the team bouncing back.
Now, we do not think that the North London club will win the Premier League title this season, but they could well finish in the top four.
