Gabby Agbonlahor has claimed on Twitter that West Ham United ‘stole the points’ during their 1-0 win at Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon.
The pressure is well and truly mounting on Steven Gerrard after his players produced another abject display in the Premier League, but Agbonlahor thinks Villa ‘didn’t deserve to lose’.
West Ham went into the game having suffered three Premier League losses on the bounce and with zero goals to their name.

The first half was dominated by Villa, in terms of possession, but no clear-cut chances, whilst West Ham were actually playing like a team that hadn’t scored a goal all season.
But all of that changed in the second half when David Moyes altered his team, including bringing on Said Benrahma, with Pablo Fornals then scoring a deflected effort.
Villa failed to create anything meaningful and tailed off towards the end, despite boos at the full-time whistle, Agbonlahor thinks his former side deserved something from the match and he can’t believe fans wanting Gerrard sacked.
PRESSURE ON GERRARD
It may well be only four games, but it’s more about how abject Villa looked last season and since the start of the new campaign – three defeats from four matches, including at newly-promoted Bournemouth who conceded nine at Liverpool on Saturday.
All of this isn’t a good look on the former Rangers boss and there is rightfully pressure on his shoulders heading into two very, very tough matches.
Arsenal have a 100% start to the new season and Gerrard is tasked with trying to end that in London on Wednesday night, whilst it’s the small matter of facing the Premier League champions next Saturday.
All in all, time is ticking for Gerrard, and despite Agbonlahor’s pretty deluded comments, things could become worse for the man in the Midlands dugout during these coming weeks.
