Tottenham Hotspur visit Stoke City on Saturday in a game which could see £30 million man Moussa Sissoko given his debut.

The 27-year-old sealed a big-money deadline-day move to Spurs from Newcastle United, and he could make his bow at the Britannia Stadium.

Elsewhere, Michel Vorm could deputise for the injured Hugo Lloris between the sticks once again, while Eric Dier and Victor Wanyama might well continue in midfield.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has something of a headache with regards to Sissoko, but winger Erik Lamela may make way in the first XI to accommodate the Frenchman.

Georges-Kévin N’Koudou, who joined from Marseille last week, could also rival Sissoko for a starting spot on the wing.

Christian Eriksen, fresh from signing a new contract, will likely start on the opposite wing, while Dele Alli could continue in behind out-of-form striker Harry Kane, who will look to kick-start his season this weekend.

For the Potters, Spurs’ defence will need to be alert as Wilfried Bony – who joined on a season-long loan from Manchester City last week – seems set to spearhead City’s attack on Saturday.
