Huth moved to Leicester City from Stoke City three-and-a-half years ago.

Stoke City fans are urging Robert Huth to rejoin them after the German defender’s release was announced by Leicester City on Wednesday.
Huth, who helped Leicester to the Premier League title two years ago, has barely featured this campaign due to injury.
And having spent five-and-a-half successful seasons at Stoke prior to that, Huth’s return would seemingly delight many of a Potters persuasion.

Here’s what they’re saying about the Foxes man, who turns 34 in August…
Stoke are preparing for life outside the Premier League for the first time in 11 years, having had their relegation confirmed on Saturday.
And given his age and lack of action this season, Huth may have to consider dropping down a division – despite his vast experience in England’s top flight.
The former Chelsea player was relegated with Middlesbrough nine years ago, but only played four times at Championship level before Stoke came calling.
Would the departing Leicester City defender be a good addition for the Potters?
