The Potters were beaten 3-0 on home turf by the Whites of Marcelo Bielsa and some fans have called for Nathan Jones to be sacked.

A number of Stoke City fans have taken to Twitter with their opinion of their side’s 3-0 Championship home loss to Leeds United, with many calling on Nathan Jones to get the sack.

The Potters were bottom of the table even before the Whites, who by contract were at the summit, came to the Bet365 Stadium, the hosts having suffered three defeats and drawn one.

Leeds had a pretty easy afternoon in Staffordshire, Stuart Dallas netting just before the break and then Ezgjan Alioski and Patrick Bamford getting on the scoresheet in the second half.

Despite Jones making six changes following his side’s 3-1 defeat at Preston last time out, including relegating England goalkeeper Jack Butland to the bench, Marcelo Bielsa’s side had 65 percent possession and 21 shots, 10 of which on target (BBC Sport).

The Potters are now winless in 11 league games stretching back to April and Jones has won just four of his 27 games in all competitions since taking charge in January, and as such, alarm bells are firmly ringing amongst sections of the Potters fanbase.

Here are just a few of the Stokies’ comments on social media:

Stoke will lock horns with Leeds again in just three days’ time as they head to Elland Road in the second round of the Carabao Cup.
