Tottenham Hotspur loanee Cameron Carter-Vickers is currently on a season-long loan at Championship side Stoke City.

Stoke City fans were left disappointed on Tuesday night after Tottenham Hotspur loanee Cameron Carter-Vickers suffered an injury during their Championship clash against Sheffield Wednesday.
Nathan Jones’ side ended up losing the contest 1-0 to Wednesday when Massimo Luongo punished Liam Lindsay’s mistake – Spurs man Carter-Vickers, 21, hobbled off in the first half.
It has been a tough start to the new season for Stoke, who at the start of the campaign, were tipped to challenge for promotion but they find themselves in the relegation zone.
Carter-Vickers wasn’t initially being picked by his manager, but as Stoke’s poor form continued, the American was brought into the Staffordshire club’s backline.
Game by game, he has become a lot stronger and better at the back, as this injury hasn’t sat well with the Stoke City faithful who think that no luck whatsoever is on their side.

It remains to be seen when Carter-Vickers will return, as his time at Stoke, and how he performs this season, could have big bearings on where the club ends up.
Added with that, if Carter-Vickers can somehow play his part in Stoke getting out of the current mess they find themselves in then it’ll bode well for his future at Spurs.
