Stoke City have reportedly shown an interest in signing Manchester United’s Ashley Young.
The Potters are set to lose Marko Arnautovic to West Ham United, and have reportedly checked the winger’s availability.
Young joined Manchester United from Aston Villa in 2011, and has made 120 Premier League appearances for the Red Devils.

The England winger, who has 30-international caps under his belt, has another year left with an option of a further 12 months at United, and is one of the longest serving players at the club.
Interestingly, Young has never made over 30 Premier League appearances at Old Trafford in a season, and last season he made only 12 league appearances.

With the likes of Jesse Lingard, Anthony Martial, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Juan Mata all ahead of him, Young has been used in full back roles by Jose Mourinho.
Stoke City fans are not entirely convinced with the move for the 32-year-old, judging by their reactions on Twitter. Many feel that he is “decent” at best, and injury prone.
