Richard Keys has written on his personal website that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will be concerned by the form of Mohamed Salah.
The beIN SPORT presenter has said that it looks like Liverpool made a mistake in selling Sadio Mane in the summer transfer window instead of cashing in on fellow forward Salah.
The former Sky Sports presenter has not been impressed by what he has seen of Salah so far this season.
The £34 million (BBC Sport) Egypt international forward signed a new contract with Liverpool in the summer.
The former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners sold Senegal international forward Mane to German giants Bayern.
Salah has scored two goals and given two assists in six Premier League matches, and has scored one goal in two UEFA Champions League appearances for the Reds so far this season.

Richard Keys on Liverpool star Mohamed Salah
Keys wrote on his personal blog: “I can’t pretend that I’m a little surprised about Liverpool’s stuttering start.
“I’m sure it’ll come right, but they look tired. Salah is still way off and that’s got to be a concern for Klopp.
“I know they had to sell either Mane or Salah because both contracts were winding down, but at the moment it looks as if they sold the wrong one, despite Mane’s apparent difficulties in Munich.”
Staying positive
In our view, Liverpool fans should stay positive about Mohamed Salah.
Yes, the Egyptian is not having the best of times at the moment, but he remains a world-class player who is still only 30.
We think that Salah will eventually get back his form, and that will be devastating for opposition Premier League defences.
