Some Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Aston Villa’s reported bid for Emiliano Martínez.
The Daily Mail has claimed that Villa are keen on signing the Arsenal goalkeeper in the summer transfer window and have made an offer of £15 million.
According to The Athletic, the Gunners are looking for £20 million as transfer fee to sell the 28-year-old Argentine goalkeeper.
Martinez has been on the books of the Gunners since 2010, but the Argentine has only made a handful of appearances in the Premier League.
It was only in the final weeks of last season that the 28-year-old came to the fore, as he got his chance due to injury to first-choice Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno.
Leno is fully fit and available, and the German is likely to go straight back into the team when the Premier League starts.
Martinez is a very good goalkeeper and is too good to be a second choice, and he would make Villa a better team.
Some Arsenal fans have given their take on speculation that Villa have made a bid for the Argentine.
