Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has told The Liverpool Echo that he is not happy about playing games during the Christmas and New Year festive period.
Klopp has said that the month of December will be crazy for Liverpool as well for the other teams in the Premier League.
The Liverpool boss, who earns £192,000 per week as salary (Goal), has added that he does not want to play during the Christmas period.
But he knows that he has to.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp not happy
Klopp told The Liverpool Echo: “December will always be crazy. Everything is fine until you reach Christmas. 26/28th is still not right to play.
“We accept that, we play, it’s tradition but it’s really tough. January is not better and the more successful we are in cups, it’s the same. So it is a difficult two months ahead.”

Jurgen Klopp should get on with it
In our opinion, Liverpool manager Klopp should just get on with it.
The Christmas and New Year period is very important to the tradition of English football.
That is a mainstay.
And it is not going to change anytime soon.
So, we think that Klopp should accept things as they are.
There is no point in moaning about it.
However, we do admit that playing two games in the space of two or three days is not ideal.
Players need rest.
However, there is nothing anyone can do about it.
Liverpool are third in the Premier League table at the moment with 31 points from 14 matches, just two points behind leaders Chelsea.
