Don Hutchison suggested on ESPN that Kyle Walker could make a sensational return to Tottenham amid these Harry Kane rumours.

It was reported by Sky Sports on Monday that Manchester City have submitted a £100 million bid for the Tottenham player.

But all of it has seemingly come with some added bonuses, with those at the Etihad willing to throw in some players, as Raheem Sterling and Aymeric Laporte’s names have been mentioned.

But ex-Liverpool midfielder, Hutchison, claimed that Walker ‘still lives in the area’ and he could be another who could be part of the Kane transfer.

“Well, I think the fee that Spurs want is £120 million,” said Hutchison. “So, now you have to try and figure out which players will end up at Tottenham.

“Maybe Kyle Walker. He still lives in the area, which Joao Cancelo playing at right-back. I have read reports about Bernado Silva maybe going to Atletico Madrid for £50 million.

“You would have thought in that Man City squad, with players like Nathan Ake and Laporte etc.. then there’s enough money there, if you are Man City, you can easily raise without even trying about £75 million.

“Then you have to pay what close to £50 million for Harry Kane? It’s a no-brainer.”

It’s been four years since Walker swapped Tottenham colours for Man City’s in a £45 million deal (BBC Sport).

And whilst Walker has won trophies galore since making that switch, Spurs supporters surely wouldn’t entertain any player for their star number nine.

Not only was Kane the Premier League’s top-scorer last season, but he was also the top assist-maker.

Two or three players wouldn’t be able to cover or match the performances Kane has been putting on the table, so it will be interesting to see how Daniel Levy reacts to these recent rumours.
